Summary:
IAP is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer with experience in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) to provide direct support to the Army Research Laboratory on Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
The Mechatronics Engineer will work hands-on development efforts pertaining to the integration of subsystems on UAVs and needs to be well-versed in associated aspects of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering and integration.
Candidates must be a US citizen with an active US Department of Defense SECRET clearance with SAP endorsement.
Essential Job Functions:
(not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested) Must be comfortable performing Systems Engineering tasks across all facets of UAV mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
Perform in all phases of design, development, integration, test, and documentation.
Some level of Novell platform design experience.
Experience integrating all aspects of UAV controls, sensors, actuators, and payloads.
Provide direct, hands-on, support of UAV integration and development.
Experience leading a team of hardware, electrical, and software engineers pursuant integration of subsystems into a finished product.
Ensure compliance with all US and local government reporting requirements.
Compile and submit operational status reports to senior management on program issues.
Works with multi-functional team to identify operational deficiencies and recommend various approaches for resolution of outstanding issues and task order requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by senior management.
Works independently under general guidelines or objectives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering with 5
years' experience.
Less experience acceptable if significant experience with directly relevant work.
License & Certifications:
N/AKnowledge & Skills:
Hands-on experience (ie not desk experience) performing physical integration and troubleshooting of subsystems on UAVs or similar platforms.
Some experience with computer programming and debugging.
Must be comfortable spanning hardware and software.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
Excellent follow through and time management skills.
Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Standard work week, notionally Monday through Friday 8:
00 AM - 5:
00 PM.
Travel:
Some travel is required ( Security Clearance:
SECRET/SAP.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
