Staff Actions Control Specialist

Serves as the staff action control officer for the CIO/G6 Office, providing a variety of management and administrative functions in support of the Staff Action Mission. Participates in planning, developing, analyzing and evaluating Staff Action requirements and establishing policies and procedures for management of CIO/G6 administrative actions. Initiates correspondence, Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), directives and memoranda to implement approved recommendations. Establishes and maintains an effective suspense control database to ensure proper processing of documents and CIO/G6 action. Tracks training requirements, training completion for CIO/G6 staff, and provides status report to leadership. Develops and conducts quarterly training classes that sequentially cover the needs of various audiences:
senior action officers, secretarial personnel, and clerical/administrative personnel. Maintains 100% property accountability of Government property (Government-Owned Non-Fielded and Government Furnished Property) using the appropriate documentation and the Global Support System - Army (GCSS-A). Processes Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) and special investigations collection vouchers in a timely and efficient manner, complying with processing timelines as determined by applicable regulations. Specialized experience is defined as:
(1) Interpreting guidance from higher headquarters to provide policy recommendations to management. (2) Analyzing administrative taskers for appropriate distribution of work within organization. AND (3) Inventorying supply systems to maintain accountability of organizational property. This experience must be earned at the next lower pay band, NH-01 or GS-04 equivalent. OR Education:

Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
