You must meet one of the items listed below (A or B):
A. Possess a degree in physical sciences, life sciences, or engineering that included 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by course work in mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics. (Must provide transcripts) B. Possess a combination of education and experience -- course work equivalent to a major as shown in A above, including at least 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics, plus appropriate experience or additional education. (Must provide transcript) AND Specialized
Experience:

Applicant must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service that included:
Applying knowledge of chemical reactions, physiological response, and molecular reactions involving toxic chemicals and chemical warfare agents to resolve technical issues for chemical hazards and risks; Performing project management for research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) projects and programs; and Presenting chemical threat awareness (e.g., chemical warfare agents, non-traditional agents, toxic industrial agents, toxic industrial chemicals, and toxic industrial materials) research projects and programs to justify resource recommendations. NOTE:
Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. Time-in-Grade Requirements:
Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet time-in-grade requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying). Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to current employees applying for a Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. NOTE:
All current or former Federal employees must provide a copy of their SF-50 (you may need to submit more than one), Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
