Bowhead is looking for anIntermediate Intelligence Analyst to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Software Engineering Center, Army Reprogramming Analysis Team-Program Office (ARAT-PO), Army Reprogramming Analysis Team - Threat Analysis (ARAT-TA), located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Analyst will identify and coordinate collection management opportunities for future Army Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS), oversee all intelligence requests for information and brokers ARAT-TA equities within the national intelligence production cycle. Additional duties will include perform expert level Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) analysis through national level sources and databases in order to determine the operating characteristics of designated threat systems. The Analyst also conducts all source research and analysis on the capabilities of threat emitters to attack or defeat Army EWS and their associated platforms, coordinates directly with Joint Intelligence centers and ratifies discrepancies between national databases and theatre orders of battle (OB) and serves as Army representative to Electronic Warfare threat panels and forums to ensure wartime reprogramming capabilities are available. The Intel Analyst will also support the ARAT Program Office with awareness of current worldwide threat environments, provide field users with technical assistance and intelligence data on enemy threat weapons systems and maintain accurate and up to date threat weapons summaries of regionalized mission data sets.
Required Skills
Experience and knowledge of US Army EW systems
EWIR/USRELMS, ELINT and SIGINT knowledge
Experience in data mining from all source intelligence agencies: DIA/MFA and CENTCOM
Experience in utilizing consumable intelligence products
Experience and knowledge of enemy air threat system capabilities
Experience in extracting intelligence data and maintaining organizational intelligence data bases
Able to travel in support of mission requirements
Desired Skills:
Understanding of software sustainment methodologies and concepts
Thorough knowledge of Army aviation branch to include survivability systems, mission planning systems and processes, and aviation tactics, techniques, and procedures
Experience with Electro-Optical and Infrared missile systems and capabilities
Experience with Request for Information (RFI) submission through Service Production Center (SPC).
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED:Must be able to maintain a clearance at the TOP SECRET level with ability to obtain a SCI.
Required Experience
BS degree in related technical field (preferred) or commensurate military intelligence experience and minimum of 5 years experience directly associated with intelligence analytical duties. A minimum of 2 years experience with Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) or Relational Electromagnetic System databases is preferred.
