Bowhead is hiring for a Configuration Management Analyst, to provide support to the ARAT System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) group, and be responsible for the following:

Preparing, maintaining, and following a Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for the DCGS-A project.
Participating in, providing status reports to, and maintaining records of Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
Establishing and maintaining a configuration management library/repository for baseline products, SEC SCRO
Establishing and/or maintaining a procedure to initiate, record, review, approve, and track baseline modification requests.
Establishing, documenting, and following procedure(s) to control changes to baseline products and customer requirements to deliver baseline products.
Establishing, documenting, and maintaining the status of configuration items/units.
Producing and delivering standard reports of CM activities and the status of configuration items/units.
Establishing, documenting, and performing baseline audits.
Performing the transition of externally developed products into the established CM environment for a system
Facilitate CM meetings for ERB/CCB and transition meeting, provide agenda, capture AIs, meeting minutes
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Familiar with Government DoD and MIL-STD documentation standards used to perform CM activities throughout the development life cycle.
Knowledgeable in CM methodologies, tools, and techniques used to control software activities throughout the development life cycle of a specific system and become proficient in the application of these tools.
Must become familiar with IEEE Std 828-1998 used to develop CMPs and other required documentation for the program.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills required to interact with engineers and customer representatives.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the TOP SECRET level.
Required Experience
Bachelor''s Degree (preferred) and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
