Bowhead is looking for a Logician to support the access control and software/hardware.
Support will include:
Procure all necessary spares
Provide and maintain installed and spare inventory, tagging, and delivery of equipment to the site
Property management and control of inventory
Document and report inventories and provide monthly to the CECOM CIO
Respond, troubleshoot, and report defects in material or installation of warranted equipment to CECOM CIO
Provide additional equipment requirements from customer to ensure the security of their operation. i.e. card readers, SMS Stations
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.This position requires frequently walking; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 56 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Exposure to electronic office equipment. Maybe occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
Required Skills
Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for one or more programs of moderate scope.
Analyze contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
Develop logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
Identify, prioritize, and assess key logistics assets and infrastructures.
Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyze requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
Required Experience
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline and 1-5 years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
Must be CPR/AED Certified
Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.
All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.
