OverviewBowhead seeks an Administrative Assistant with current Secret clearance to perform a variety of administrative functions within support services to the CECOM Security Management Directorate (SAMD).
The Administrator shall provide a variety of financial, administrative and records management functions within program management.
Responsibilitieso Provide administrative support to executive level leadership.
o Coordinate and submit supply orders.
Track supply budget.
o Provide a variety of records management functions.
o Perform administrative duties, including timekeeping (ATAAPS), scheduling conference rooms, and setting up video teleconference, teleconference and visit requests.
o Preview memos for consistency, policies, content, grammar, spelling, and appropriate format.
o Maintain training and reporting schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
Qualificationso High School Diploma with 5-10 years of experience or Associates degree and 1-5 years of relevant experience.
Associates or higher degree preferred.
o Commitment to quality customer service and customer's needs with a dedicated attitude that ensures mission success.
o Experience working in different types of database systems.
o Prior DOD experience preferred.
o Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointo Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.
o Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
o Highly organized with the ability to see both the details and the big picture.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodicallySECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
