Summary:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the employment process once the employee is hired.

Essential Functions:
Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specificationsPerform daily cleaning functions while also leading team in day-to-day activitiesAct as mentor to newly hired custodians Ensure and report on quality and quantity of work completed by custodians in teamAssign rework as needed and assist to ensure 100% compliance with contract specificationsAssist with training staff in proper cleaning procedures and techniquesWork closely with supervisor to ensure all duties assigned to team are completedPromptly answer/respond to all calls or messages from supervisor or designated representativeImmediately report facilities issues such as broken or leaking fixtures to supervisorClean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areasDescale showers, toilet bowls, and urinalsScrub tile and wash wallsKeep restrooms supplied with required paper products and soapReport to supervisor supply needs and equipment issuesPerform routine glass and mirror cleaningVacuum area rugs and carpets; sweep and mop floorsPull trash and recycling and place in proper receptaclesDust various surfaces, polish furniture and metal, clean glass tabletopsClean and disinfect kitchenettes and break roomsClean and disinfect fitness centers, health centers, and child care centersClean walls, window blinds, and window sills window blinds as required by contractClean corners, crevices, moldings, ledges, door jambs, and metal stripsClean elevators, escalators, and stairwellsClean and police building exteriors, garages, and janitor closetsSweep and mop floors, hallways, and lobbiesEmpty and clean any public ashtrays and urns ashtrays in or around buildingsSpot clean service restrooms, and police trashPerform or assist with special restoration work, as requiredMove, arrange, and lift heavy itemsAssist with special events by setting up and taking down furniturePerform emergency cleaningComply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standardsPass and comply with all building and security requirements and proceduresAdditional Essential Functions for Floor Crew (Secondary for others):
Maintain all floor surfaces including porches and steps at entrancesUse and measure chemicals correctlyStrip, wax, burnish, buff floors, and clean carpets as required by contractClean and maintain equipmentSecondary Functions:
