Community Living Program Manager

Aberdeen, MD Aberdeen, MD Full-time Full-time From $60,000 a year From $60,000 a year The Program Manger is responsible for the oversight of their assigned caseload within the Community Living department, the supervision of the House Supervisors providing direct support to the staff and individuals within those houses or areas and the coordination of all services and aspects of the individuals' lives on their caseload.
Attend and participate in monthly career fair.
Interview applicants who apply via website or outside of the career fail.
Participate in mediation meetings with DSP's and HR Manager.
Complete termination meetings/calls with HR Manager as necessary.
Review HR open position list to ensure proper posting for each home.
Notify HR of open positions.
Plot staff on talent management grid quarterly with support from Assistant Director Review staff training deadlines with staff to ensure they avoid suspension.
Complete documentation (Coaching notes, Verbal/Written Warnings/Termination Memos) for any corrective action meetings with staff.
Submit to HR for approval.
Complete status change forms for any staff transferring and ensure the house interview guide and internal transfer checklist are completed and attached at the time of submission.
Review Safety Alerts from HR and ensure staff sign and complete needed trainings.
Review GPS Alerts from Transportation and schedule staff to come in for corrective action.
Review authorized CMT list monthly to ensure staff are approved to administer medications.
Follow up with HR and/or Dimensional for clarification if necessary.
Meet new staff during orientation week during lunch on Monday.
24/7 On call responsibilities from CL House Managers.
Hold monthly team meetings and supervisions with staff that need additional support.
Shadow/observe, coach and provide feedback to DSP's while visiting homes.
This includes reviewing start/end of shift, administering medications, morning/evening routines, etc.
Review communication book to ensure proper documentation and initial.
Ensure weekly documentation (IP data, BP data, menus, fire drills, vehicle logs, sleep charts, ABC Charts, medication tracking forms, etc.
) is submitted by 5 p.
m.
on Wednesday.
Ensure attendant is submitted every Monday by 12 p.
m.
Attend Frontline Supervisor Training.
Attend Leadership meeting monthly.
Attend Department meeting weekly.
Education, Training and
Experience:
One to two (4-5) years of experience in the human services field; Residential or Personal Support preferred.
High School Diploma required; Associates (AA) or Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree's preferred.
AA may substitute for two years of human services experience; BA/BS may substitute for 4 human services years of experience.
Two (2) years of experience leading supervisors, preferred Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, etc.
