The Regional Asset Protection and Risk Manager will provide essential reporting and analysis of key performance metrics, investigate, and resolve all potential losses and manage all workmen's compensation and general liability claims.

What you'll do:
You will analyze and identify:
Using your analytical skills you will perform research and review of exceptions in Micros POS.
You will take weekly safety walks and provide findings, recommendations, and action plans to address issues.
Provide research into industry developments, technology, and policies that can assist in reducing incidences of external and internal theft or fraud.
You will investigate and resolve:
Utilizing your investigative skills you will conduct investigations and resolve potential losses.
You will manage the cash handling and shortage reduction efforts within your region.
You will maintain the Safety Handbook and Loss Prevention Manual.
You will manage risk:
You will manage reporting and investigation of workman's comp and general liability claims.
Promote a return to work focus that promotes the associates well being and minimizes risk to the company.
Use your expertise to lead the monthly safety committee meetings and participate in the quarterly claims review.
What will make you successful in this role? Good understanding of food and liquor cost control is an advantage WZ Interview and interrogation certification is required, CFI Certification is plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with excellent task management, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage and make progress on multiple projects under specific time requirements.
Knowledge of Micros POS and XBR exception-based reporting tools preferred.
Knowledgeable of workmen's compensation, general liability and food safety standards and requirements is a plus.
Experienced with MS Office suite:
Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to travel within assigned region which may include overnight travel.
Travel is estmated at 50%.
All travel covered by Areas.
Other Qualifications Include:
At least 5 years of Loss Prevention, Asset Protection and Safety experience.
This position will be based out of the Maryland House Travel Plaza in Aberdeen, MD.
