As a DSP-Personal Support Coach, you will make a positive impact by creating independence for individuals with differing abilities.
What you will do:
Mentor, train and assist individuals in learning how to live independently and how to make some of life's tough decisions.
Assist individuals with life skills which may be cooking, cleaning their home, wash their clothes, go grocery shopping or general shopping, pay bills, decorate their house, budget plan, or plan social outings.
Help individuals fulfill some of their personal goals.
Past experience is a bonus, but if this is a new calling, we will provide you with the training and tools to be successful, and start your new career.
One of the requirements of a DSP is a willingness to learn and being excited about our mission.
Requirements:
Must be over the age of 18 Must have at least two years driving experience, no more than 2 points on your record and valid auto insurance.
You must have reliable transportation as you will be taking individuals into the community.
Competitive Compensation:
Start at $16.
75/hr.
Additional compensation for having your CNA, GNA, Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree.
