The assistant will ensure excellent customer service and assist the dentist with daily chairside and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate should be well-organized with great attention to detail.
Understanding and adhering to rules and regulations of the industry is a must.
We are looking for experience with positive patient care and completing procedures to increase efficiency within the office.

MD X-Ray certification required.
Schedule:
Monday 8am-6pm Tuesday 8am-6pm Wednesday 12pm-7pm Thursday 8am-6pm Saturday (2/month) 8am-2pm Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed for each procedure Sterilize instruments according to regulations Complete equipment maintenance as needed Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care instructions Keep the treatment rooms clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments & post patient treatment Take quality diagnostic x-rays Take preliminary impressions Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Open to learning new techniques If you have a passion for dental assisting and helping patients, we want to hear from you!
