Local Relocation Assistance is Provided CACI is seeking a RF Hardware Engineer to support the US Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide electronic warfare and signals threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work with a team while in support of on-going projects managed from the Communications Electronic Command Software Engineering Center's Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office.
As an RF Hardware Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting the ARAT-Software Engineering Activity (ARAT-SE) Hardware Team for Post Deployment/Production Software Support (PDSS/PPSS) of US Army Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) and Target Sensing Systems (TSS).

What You'll Get to Do:
Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain radio frequency (RF) simulation hardware and various infrastructure hardware systems used in software reprogramming of target sensing systems (TSS) and Force Protection Systems (FPS).
Ensure compliance of the laboratory hardware maintenance program for simulation and other infrastructure hardware.
Monitor MDS (Mission Data Set) laboratory hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing to ensure proper simulation hardware operation.
Provide TSS and FPS project team members with technical assistance and training on the use of simulation hardware as required.
Create RF scenarios and simulations for software support activities.
More About the Role:
The primary focus of this position is to provide RF Hardware Engineering support for assigned ground and airborne Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) as part of the Army Reprogramming Analysis Team - Program Office (ARAT-PO) efforts for providing Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-production Software Support (PPSS) pursuant to Army regulations.
The RF Hardware Engineer role supports the full life cycle of activities for associated Army software systems and interoperability with numerous hardware systems.
You'll Bring These
Qualifications:
An active DoD Secret clearance.
Hands on experience in maintaining EW simulators, such as AMES, CEESIM, and ExcaliburBasic schematic/ Wiring Diagram familiarity.
Ability to troubleshoot/repair down to component level.
Basic Networking Configuration of Switches, Routers, and Hubs.
Basic soldering skills and familiarity with handtools.
Familiarity with test equipment ie Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Network Analyzers, Osciloscopes, and Digital Volt Mete.
Capable of building single and 3 phase power cables.
Familiarity with Windows XP, Windows 10 and Red Hat Linux command line usage.
Extensive RF Simulator background.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Prior DoD experience as an (Aviation) Avionics/Electronics Tech / (AT/AV/ET) & (AECF); (Aviation) Warfare Tech / (AW/EW); (Aviation) Fire Control Tech / (AQ/FC); Sonar Tech / (ST); Crypto Tech-Maintenance / (CTM); Crypto Tech-Technician / (CTT); Ocean Systems Tech / (OT).
RF Simulation hardware repair experience.
Ability to provide technical assessment and recommendation for hardware and software comparability and interoperability with US Army Aircraft Survivability System (ASE) Radio Frequency systems.
Working knowledge of Matlab, MathCAD or Visual Basic, A+, C, C++, Java, UNIX/Linux, HTML, VXWorks, Python, Pearl & Shell scriptingExperience with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
Understanding of the cost and financial implications of engineering effortsUnderstanding of risk management and mitigation.
Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use.
Excellent time management skills.
Flexibility to work with changing requirements as developed and communicated from customer feedback.

Pay Range:
The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000.
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
