Software Assurance Engineer Location:
APG, MD Job Description Responsible for working with a team to analyze source code using automated software assurance (SwA) tools.
Interprets, prioritizes, and uses source code SwA Tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
Contributes to developing testing methodologies, formulates testing scores and creates test cases that support SwA tool analysis.
Supports testing of DoD client software and interfaces with clients to define recommended remediation.
Capture and refines information security requirements and ensures that the requirements are effectively integrated into software assurance best practices.
Provide software assurance engineering expertise for application code development Experience applying NIST RMF to conduct software assurance risk and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or related career field) 8570 Compliant (IAT or IAM II) 5
years of experience with the following:
OS:
Linux and Windows SwA Tools:
Klockwork, CodePeer, CodeSonar, Fortify, Fortran-Lint Databases:
Postgres, SQL, MongoDB Languages:
Java, JavaScript,.
NET, C#, PowerShell, Cloud Technologies:
AWS, Azure Experience interpreting, prioritizing, and using source code SwA Tools results to remediate potential vulnerabilities in software.
