Duties &
Responsibilities:
Supports functional users of computer systems by accepting processing requirements and directs program execution of requirements. Assists the ATIRS Branch Chief with functions in project control and scheduling workload. Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and suggesting improvements to customized electronic data entry forms for complex projects. Uses web enabled data management systems such as ODIN and VDLS for tracking and monitoring data flow. Uses application tools such as Cognos to query databases and produce professional reports based on user requirements. Monitors daily data flow to identify errors or anomalies for corrective action. Supports users and other personnel (from within ATC or representatives from other test agencies) involved with or interested in test results of the system in formulation of requirements that will eventually result in modification to the system under test. Determines whether new software is needed, or existing programs can be enhanced to satisfy requirements. Coordinates with the Database Administrator in providing technical assistance in the use of database management system software. Assists in the development of user guidance (e.g., Data Collector's Handbook, training manuals, operating instructions) and in developing shortcuts to existing procedures. Provides assistance to troubleshoot ODIN and/or other/future software applications. Supports the ATIRS Branch Chief to provide technical assistance to lower- graded operators, Government and contractor personnel from ATC and other test agencies in resolving database and software standard/non-standard problems. Assists in conducting/participating in briefings, user training of software packages, meetings, conferences, etc. Provides for the maintenance and repair of laptops computers; ensures warranty procedures are in place and followed. Issues the necessary laptop computers to lower-graded personnel prior to the start of each assignment. May be required to operate in a SECRET environment abiding by all required security procedures and regulations. Required Skills &
Experience:
Clearance level required:
Secret Bachelor's Degree in Computer Studies or related field such as Information Technology, Information Management Systems, Computer Technology and six (6) years' experience; or an Associate's Degree in Computer Studies or related field such as such as Information Technology, Information Management Systems, Computer Technology and eight (8) years' experience ; or 10 years' experience using data entry software tools in a Windows environment and using industry standard reporting tools such as IBM Cognos, MS Access or Crystal Reports. (2) Shall have (5) years of leadership experience. Experience using data entry software tools in a Windows environment and using industry standard reporting tools such as IBM Cognos, MS Access, or Crystal Reports.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network Administration, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
