Full Stack Developer( Java/React)
Overview The By Light LGY Team is looking for an experienced Developer working with Application and Technical Architects to translate a business need into a robust and integrated technology solution.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment solving unique and challenging software problems and developing innovative solutions.
You will provide technical leadership and support to a team of 2-3 junior to mid-level developers and 1-2 testers.
Responsibilities Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirementsDesigns and codes new software or modifies existing software to add new featuresDebugs existing software and corrects defectsIntegrates existing software into new or modified systems or operating environmentsDevelops simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositoriesMake recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standardsDevelops or implements algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standardsAssists with developing and executing test procedures for software componentsWrites or reviews software and system documentationDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers; analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigating problem areasServe as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular projectModify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries Required Experience/Qualifications Must demonstrate leadership abilities Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Java must have Spring) Proficiency in one or more frontend framework (Must have React) Proficiency in Redux Experience with one or more databases (Oracle preferred) Experience developing responsive web applications.
Good OO-skills.
Must demonstrate strong familiarity of design patterns.
Ability to understand complex code quickly.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience practicing pair programming in a team is an advantage.
Experience with SQL, Redux Form, Spring Boot and AWS a plus Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and Test-Driven Development is an advantage.
Good communication and client-facing skills.
