Job Description

Bowhead is looking for a Receptionist that must enforce the Government''s system of personnel identification and access/egress control. Receptionists may perform package inspection when and as directed by the post orders, or as directed by the COR/COTR in the event of an emergency or period of increased security readiness. Shifts could vary depending on availability.

Support will include:
Conduct JPAS clearance validation, as necessary.
Monitor CCTV monitors. Dispatch personnel in close proximity when problems are observed or detected.
Monitor Intrusion Detection system during duty hours, interface with Garrison DES as necessary.
Act as central point and eyes/ears of entire campus. Monitoring electronic systems for illegal activities.
Maintain access control system database. Update system with new or departing employees as required.
Monitor access/egress of all employees and visitors.
Verify restricted area badge for employees and visitors entering lab.
Conduct check of bags and briefcases for prohibited items as mandated by DIA accreditation and local security policies during access/egress to secure areas.
Control hardstand area of complex.
Monitor vehicles and sensitive equipment on the site.
Insure all visitors sign in before entering facilities and sign out upon exit, Notify designated employees of deliveries to facility, Verify credentials before allowing vehicles to proceed into gated/fenced areas of facilities.
Provide assistance to customers, visitors as necessary.
Issue visitor badge and maintain visitors logs.
Conduct electronic monitoring of CCTV and respond to door alarms (door ajar) and possible security breaches. When access control violations or security breaches are detected, receptionist will immediately notify the Garrison Police Desk and COR/COTR, as time permits.
Issue, receive and inventory administrative keys from key box, maintained in vicinity of lobby security desk and in Security Control Room.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 56 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Exposure to electronic office equipment.Maybe occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
Required Skills
Must have experience in security, access control, and CCTV and required security clearance for the position.
Proficent in Microsoft Office and Windows XP Operating System.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
Required Experience
High School Diploma is required, college degree preferred and 5 years of relevant experience.
Must be CPR/AED Certified.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
